All the Most Well-Known Roku City References

The Cool Purple City

The City of Purple Light is filled with so many references to pop culture it is almost impossible to count! From the extremely well hidden to the in your face reference here is the Top Ten most well known Easter eggs hidden in Roku City!

• The Hollywood Sign. Hidden in the background we can only view a portion of the sign but, nothing else looks quite like the iconic sign on those giant hills.
• King Kong. No city is ever quite safe from giant animal monsters it seems as our picturesque city is attacked by a few big names! Kong himself is found atop one of Rokus towers.
• Alcatraz. The infamous prison is seen sitting alone in the water with its lighthouse surveying the area, perhaps looking for the only escapee ever to have done it!
• The Kraken. Yet another beast joins the ranks as the Kraken swallows a ship in Roku Bay.
• Godzilla. The big lizard himself is seen crawling out of the water mouth open ready to start a disaster. Maybe he might be looking for his old furry foe?
• Spiderman. The fan favorite masked hero is seen swinging on his web through the city. Hopefully Spidey can stop all the rampages going on.
• Jaws. An oldie but a goodie. Jaws is referenced with a tiny fishing boat being tailed by an ominous fin right behind.
• Avengers Tower. Now back to the present what city being rampaged by all these bad guys wouldn’t be a central stop for Earths Heroes.
• Northern Lights. A nice subtle touch to bring some much needed peace to all Roku City citizens.
• The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Everyone’s favorite turtles are here, well some at least, to join in on the epic fights in Roku City. While not all four of our friends made it we understand someone had to stay and eat the pizza!
